Bay Harbor Islands is a municipality with a population of only 5,000 people and is located on two islands: the West Island and the East Island. The West one features luxurious real estate including condominiums and single-family homes. The East Island contains a business district, a K-8 school, and multi-family housing. The island also features one of the largest concentrated collections of mid-century Miami Modern architecture of the 1940s and 1950s.
Nowadays Bay Harbor Islands is abundant in upscale developments, but maintains a well-preserved small island town atmosphere of exclusivity and safety. A chance to live in tropical elegance, surrounded by top-notch amenities, is one of the main reasons why residents are attracted to Bay Harbor Islands.
Broad Causeway connects these neighborhoods with the mainland, which creates easy access to all nearby attractions, such as illustrious golf and tennis clubs, state-of-the-art malls, lavish parks, and, of course, gorgeous white sandy beaches. Due to immaculate weather, the area is brimming with activity year-round: boat parties, festivals, artisanal festivals – just to name a few examples.
