Aventura, which simply means ‘adventure’ in Spanish, is a planned suburban city to the North of Miami. The area offers a variety of entertainment to satisfy any craving, be it active leisure, cultural attractions, or quiet contemplation.
The majority of residents are well-educated and more than half of them are married. Therefore, there is an abundance of private schools that make this area ideal for raising children.
Aventura boasts an array of waterfront residences, with windows facing either the bay or one of the numerous lakes. William Lehman Causeway provides easy access over the Intracoastal Waterway towards the barrier islands and their numerous attractions, including jade green golf courses, opulent yacht clubs, and plentiful parks. Residents and visitors feed ducks and geese at the Aventura Circle or take their pets out for a walk in the Waterways Dog Park. The prestigious Turnberry Golf Course has been host to numerous South Florida PGA and LPGA championships.
